Does the bench wobble much while operating the 650?

      Not at all. Solid.

If anyone in san diego buys the bench and dosen't want the upper cabinets...I'll buy the two for $75.

What kind of car is that you are building? Guessing Cobra by the name of the pic.

I think it is funny that everytime someone posts a picture of an item, everyone starts making comments about the small stuff in the background of the pciture. Generator, Jack, Fire Ext, etc... Happens every time.

I was at Costco (Santa Clara) last week with my brother and his first comment when he saw that bench was "That would be great for reloading..."

For those that don't know, the side cabinets come off to make one cabinet that you can mount separately.

man, i hope the sale comes back. saw the bench at my costco yesterday and thought, "this is the perfect bench for reloading! i should get it". but since i have no truck or way to get it home i didn't buy it. instead i came home and jumped online to research, found this thread....found out about the $100 rebate, and now wish i saw it 2 weeks sooner!

I know this is off topic a little, I am building a loading bench and here is the reason why; http://i1000.photobucket.com/albums/...g/DSCF0024.jpg

I went hunting for this after seeing the thread.

Found only the floor model at my local Costco. They said they would sell it to me but the rebate had ended. Said they would take off $50 because it was "used". It was on the rack and they would call when it was down.

3 days later and a lot of drama and they still hadn't taken it down for me. In the meantime more came in so I thought I was back to the full price of $300. The guy I was dealing with was really sorry about the mixup and offered me a $100 discount. I was a happy guy.

I go to pick it up only to find the new price was $390! After much more drama they found my guy and he told them to honor our original deal of $199. Very happy guy

The thing is a beast! It wasn't much fun to setup but it all worked out in the end. I followed the advice of the OP and replaced the casters with legs. Soon as my Dillon comes in I'll post pics.

I saw one at my local Costco as well. They are really nice benches. I was going to buy it strictly for reloading. My truck is in the shop and I hate asking people to borrow theirs. I ended up getting this one for now shipped to my door for like $140. Not as nice but very solid.

I bought the Costco bench and it is very solid even with the wheels, just lock them.

Heads up...it looks like the workbench is back on sale, although now it's only $50 off. Right in line with Father's day too.

*UPDATE* 5/26/13. Costco has the Whalen Industrial Mobile Workbench with Cabinets on sale for $339.99 (after manufacturer’s instant rebate) for a limited time.
