recommend me a good powder thrower

the LEE perfect powder thrower that i got with my SS kit many years ago is starting to piss me off. it's pissing powder out of the side and wasting my money... i'm thinking of getting this.

It's a good measure. I have the Lee and the RCBS. The RCBS is certainly more well built however I don't know of it's really worth the price over the Lee. I've never had a problem with either one.

They're a bit pricey, but I'm pleased enough with my Redding 3BR that they've got a customer for life.

I had the same problem with my Lee measure. It leaked out the side, had a gritty throw, and sucked at measuring flake powder. I got the RCBS, and it's like night and day. I definitely recommend it.

In the end, I think the powder you are trying to drop makes he biggest difference, although I know I couldn't tolerate a leaky one.

I've used the RCBS Uniflo for many years. I doubt that any other measure is any more consistent. OTOH, if you ever picked up the box with the Lee measure, it feels like you have an empty box.

I have both the RCBS uniflow and the Hornady LnL Powder measure. For my money the Hornady is a bit better.

I have 2 RCBS Uniflow units. One set up with a large drum and another with the small drum. I like them. I hear Redding units are very good.

I have a Uniflow, but I use the Harrell's Precision for all my rifle work.
