    Bruno's Shooter Supply

Has anyone ordered from Bruno's Shooter Supply in AZ? Is their shipping rates reasonbale to California? I was thinking of ordering from them, but you must call to get the shipping rates after you place the order.

I've done an order from Bruno's and you have to be careful. It was back in '08, but there was a shipping charge and a handling charge. He has stuff in stock, but primers are $55/$60/1k with a minimum of 3k. Throw in HazMat at $27.50, s/h and whatever charge he adds in and well...you're paying come coin.

In competitive shooting circles, he's known as 'Lester The Weasel'.

I guess the way I feel about vendors that set their prices according to market conditions, at least they usually have some supply when you really need it.

I was in a shop a few weeks ago and they had some CCI BR2's. I needed some, so I asked the clerk, "how much"? He said, "$64/K". At first I was a little taken aback, then said, "Ok, I will take a box." The reason he had primers in stock was the price, which was over 50% markup from the last time I had bought them at PV.

As an aside, with all the "market pricing" going on with components, I predict more and more people will discover the Russian's. While I don't favor them for my pistol loads, I really like them for many of my rifle loads, certainly lower SD's than my old standby WLR's.

I have ordered from them...it took many emails to get them to ship my items. My items were tools, so not really part of the onslaught, at least in the very beginning. It took almost two months to get to L.E Wilson case gages that were "instock".

They are a father daughter operation and Amy recently posted they are 6 weeks behind on shipping.
They are geared towards precision shooting and Lester is in the Benchrest Hall Of Fame.

This is a popup when you go on the site.

***** There is a minimum order of 3,000 primers due to the relative cost of the shipping charges and haz-mat fees. Also, all IN STOCK items will ship as fast as we can. All OUT OF STOCK items will be canceled. We will not accept backorders for these items unless otherwise noted as TAKING BACKORDERS) *****
I assume they don't have live inventory based on the statement there.

Let us know what happens though.

Each time I emailed to inquire about my order, it would take about two days for a response.
