Why tumble primed brass? You can tumble a finished round if you want them to have a good shine. Much less issue.

Don't tumble brass if it's only been primed, like previously stated media stuck in a flash hole can cause squibs. I've tumbled finished rounds for a few minutes to get lube/oils off rounds before and that works well.

Like others have said, never tumble primed brass of any type because you 'will' get media stuck in the flash hole.

You can safely deprime a live primer, if you go slowly.

I tumble primed brass. Meaning I tumble it after I have shot it and have yet to remove the spent primer. re-priming then tumbling seems like re-ordering steps in a manner that both serves no purpose and could cause problems. Do you have some priming fetish that makes it hard for you to wait for the few hours of tumbling?
