Those are two of the primary reasons I selected a 550 also. Caliber changes are frequent, and the 550 is simpler and more economical in that respect.
A new side benefit I've recently gained is the simplicity in which the 550 can be used in single-stage mode. I've been working up some precision rounds lately and thus doing a lot of hand charges, so it has been easy to set up a toolhead with a two-die set and load batches individually.
