    Normal price for Clean/Indoor 9mm?

    Hey all-

    I'm new to the owning a handgun biz & I'm trying to figure out what I should normally be paying for 9mm ammo usable at Shooter's Paradise in Oxnard (WinClean, IRT, Clean Fire, etc..) so I know how to plan my ammo buys.

    Is is $13/box? $15? $19+?

    Thanks!

    Winclean generally runs about +$1 more than the equivalent Winchester USA (white box) per 50 rounds ($17 v $18 per box). Winchester Super Clean is closer to +2.5x than the equivalent Winchester USA.

    Keep in mind, standard 9mm FMJ has cheaper options such as CCI Blazer for about $10/50.

    But what are normal prices now, is not necessarily what was normal in September of 2012. And supply is very low on just about everything at the moment.

      @mixicus-

      Thanks, but I'm trying to figure out what a good pre-/post-panic price would be. I know that I can get AE IRT for $18/50, but I'm not sure if that's a good price or just a good "mid-panic" price.

      I'm specifically working to build up my base stock for the future, so I can afford to go slow if needed.

        I've bought a case of 9mm WinClean last year from Miwall at a gun show for $12 a box, but good luck finding it now. The gun shows were the only local source that I know of for decently priced indoor range ammo. I haven't gone to the last 2 shows because of the craze, so I don't know how supply has been as of late. My obvious guess is they have less available and it will cost more.

          I recall pre-panic AE and AE IRT 9mm prices in the $10-12 per 50 range. So compared to a year ago, $18 is way over priced. But $18 is in the current market rate range.

            Cool. I'll probably space out my buying then- I'm starting to see 9mm trickle back into stores, and I've got *some* ammo, so it seems better to just wait it out until prices drop.
