New to reloading, looking at a kit

+1 RCBS. Kit comes w/almost all you need. I've had mine for years. You'll like a digital scale, Gempro250 is good, case trimmer, good calipers and there are other items you will need/want. Oh ya those pesky components $$. Getting started is sometimes tedious but worth it the first time you load & shoot your own ammo.

I got the hornady LnL classic kit, comes with a lot of stuff, in my opinion it works great, the hornady kits also come with a mail in offer for 500 free projectiles

I also got the Hornady classic Kit. The RCBS kit is great, but I'm in love with the easy of the LNL die change system. I can change calibers in seconds without having to reset the die. I can even change the die for the same caliber but different bullets using the mic adjustment tool on the seating die. No screwing in the dies and adjusting everytime you change dies.

I find it especially quick when working up loads. I can seat a bullet, try it in the chamber, and if it's too long just back off the seating stem, pull the die with a 1/8 turn, install the bullet puller, reinstall the seating die and reseat the bullet within seconds.

Plus when I decide to go to an AP press, the dies and powder measures from the single stage kits will work in the AP press. So no added expense other than the press and shell and bullet loaders.

Hornday is great stuff. The LNL quick change die kit will work on the Rock Chucker.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll be starting out with the RCBS kit soon. Gotta wait on them paychecks. lol
