    .40 S&W dies

Having trouble finding .40 dies locally and online other than overpriced ones on eBay. If anyone out there knows where I could buy from it would be much appreciated. I am new to reloading and bought a new rock chucker supreme set up. I will be loading for a KAHR PM40 and was planning on using RCBS dies unless there is a good reason I should use a different brand?

Get Lee dies from Midway and spend the difference on powder and bullets. Lee dies are top notch and made in the USA!!!
If you want change you have to put in your 2 cents, you can't just sit on the sidelines and whine.

Thanks, midway is out of stock but this can be back ordered and shows they expect it in soon.

Midways dates will move back so just know they might not come in to stock for awhile longer.

I agree with the suggestion to buy Lee from Midway, you might also check out Natchez and see what their stock situation might be.

The Lee dies come with an expander and shell holder for the caliber, two less things you will need to buy separately.

          Good luck.

Amazon has some, just search .40 dies and 4 pop up, RCBS, 2 Lee and Hornady. If you shop Amazon just go to "shop42a.com" and it takes you right to Amazon but by doing so a percentage of your purchase gets sent to the Calguns Foundation with no extra cost to you. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_sa...k%3A.40%20dies

I did look at amazon and if ordered it says they ship in 1 to 2 months. Was hoping for something sooner but I may be have to wait.

Huntingtons has RCBS in stock. Heck, if you are that close, you can just go up to Oroville and pick them up.

Lee Factory Sales has the 4 die set in stock as well

I was having the same problem, and have had a set on order with Midway for a while and it just got pushed back to May. I'll give FS Reloading a shot also. Thanks Clownpuncher for the links!

Oroville should have been my first thought considering where RCBS is from. I'm overdue for a trip to huntingtons. Thanks

Yeah, Midway's "back in stock" dates always move. My .40 mold was supposed to be back in stock 2/28 now it's 4/30. Oh well!

Ordered from huntingtons online, now I guess we see how long it takes to get.
