Powders I like for .45ACP - Bullseye (target), WST (target), W231 (all around), VV-N340/N350 (SD).

LP Primers - whatever you find on the shelf. Winchester and Federal seat a little easier, CCI and Russian a little harder. If you find some small primer 45 Auto cases, you will need SPP to load them.

    Good luck, have fun.

Whatever you can get and whatever is cheapest for most shooting.

For less than 50 yd I've used Unique, Red Dot and now Green Dot.

Most shooting outside Bullseye Competitions is the Indian not the Arrow or in this case powder

I like Bullseye and CCI primers. I played with all the other powders and turns out Bullseye is the most accurate.

Bullseye has been THE powder for .45ACP longer than I've been alive.

I discovered Green Dot when I couldn't find Bullseye. It's a bit slower but charge weights are very close. Makes for a nice soft shooter under a 200gr LSWC.

One upside to Green Dot is that it is significantly bulkier than Bullseye if you're worried about a double charge. 4.5gr is easily seen in the case and 9gr fills almost to the top.

WST,WSF,UNIQUE,W231, In that order. CCI & Winchester primers, lately though I have gotten some bad Win primers, the anvil was far to high and had problems feeding on progressive.

                          W231/HP-38

I prefer Winchester Primers, but anything will really do.

W231 (kinda dirty) or WST (much cleaner) and both for target loads.
