    reloading book

    going to start reloading .45acp. what is a good book to get so i can learn the ins and outs..any other places to learn?

      Hornady has an excellent reloading guide. There are also some sites online that have lots of load data but charge for it. If you are in the OC area Fieldtime in HB offers seminars.

              Also, components are hard to come by these days. Be patient. For the .45 ACP I use a shotgun powder called Hi Skor 700X. It's almost always in-stock and works great.

                  I just got the Lyman book and have been reading it for the last few days. Seems like a pretty good book and lots of ballistic info in the back.

                      as for the powder, as Rudy said... i use a shotgun powder. Hodgdon clays. i can usually find that stuff at my local turners. they always seem to have it.

                          Lyman #49 book is the best.
                          A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.
