Shooting lead moly in glocks

I have heard that that these work great in glock. I am not going to be shooting 1000 in one session. How do they shoot? Are they safe?

I've shot about 400 through my glock 19. No problems whatsoever. I use Bear Creek Cast-molly 125gr RN

I only shoot Bear Creek Moly coated bullets in my Glocks. Ill put about 15k per year through my .40 alone. They shoot great! Glocks will shoot any type of bullet just fine...despite what you may read on the errornet.

No problems at all. I find them better than plated and much easier to clean.

My bear creek .40's were fine in my old 35. Never had an issue.

I shoot Bear Creek, but other brands such as Precision Bullets are supposed to be good also.

Any hard cast lead bullet will be just fine in Glock barrels. Just try to not push them really fast, over about 1050fps will increase leading requiring more frequent barrel cleaning. When I shot lead bullets in my Glock I used 147gr ones and loaded them to just over 130 power factor (890fps). This produced almost no barrel leading and I could go a very long time between barrel cleanings.

I run Bear Creek 125 TC's over 3.6 grains of TiteGroup at 1.100 overall going about 1,180 fps and they lead up a OEM barrel badly. They make a filthy mess on BarSto barrels, but the cleanup is way, way easier. After Hoppes #9, just pour in the vinegar/hydrogen peroxide cocktail for that 'lead fizzy' Gets the lead out without any real work.

moly is gtg, i prefer the precision bullets over bear creek.
i've run over 10k+ precision bullets in a glock 34 with stock barrel, great stuff

I use Bear Creek bullets in my Glock barrels all the time with no problems what so ever...

I cast & lube all my own boolits for 9,38/357,40 &45. Had no problems with the lead in my factory barrel. I find my lead loads to be more accurate then any factory rounds. The only thing you need to watch out for is the leading. Keep the barrel clean and they shoot great.
