some of you might already use a method close to this, but heres a case cleaning tip thats failsafe. ive been using it for years
before polishing your cases, give them a 10 minute soak in a 50/50 solution of "purple power" ( a cleaning solution thats supposed to be along the lines of simple green. its sold at walmart and various auto parts stores.its mildly acidic ( about like strong lemon juice) so rinse until you get no more "soap bubbles"
it removes about 99% of all powder residue, removes light to medium case staining ( such as from finger prints, oils, etc that have discolored your cases),etc
then dry your cases ( i slap them on a cookie sheet and either set them in the sun for awhile or put them in the oven on warm),decap and load as usual.
using this method from the begining on new and once fired cases will keep them looking brand new from here on out. ive used this method now for about 4 years and have never had anything but good results.
