I can only tell you the unreliable info that has been handed to me by untrustworthy sources. Something about contracts up, renegotiating and a huge back order list. Agian this is hear say. Someone will chime in with some facts. So in short I have no clue. Yes, my post was useless.

I don't think there is a definitive answer. I think it has more to do with when people stop panic buying, hoarding, and buying everything in sight with intent to flip it. Hard to tell when those stars will line up.

4 years, maybe longer depending on who is elected president next.

I would put money on this, also, that it will last quite a long time because of how much profit is being made. None of them are in it for us.

I have this suspicion that by the time ammo is readily available again, we will need a permit or pay a tax for the privilege of purchasing it.

My estimate is 60 days minimum, up to 6 months. People have got to be running out of discretionary spending for ammo.

There's plenty of ammo available at the online auction sites. Panic buyers are paying double for it. Each ammo lot has multiple bidders and prices are escalating.

When the panic buyer's relax, stop paying double at auction or hanging out at the Walmart ammo case, the supply will have a chance to catch up.
