I recently got myself into reloading and need some advice on storage. I normally do one stage at a time when time permits. One day I will just tumble brass, next day I'll be punching out primers, day after I'll be resizing..... My question is, on the stage I start adding my charge, how long do I have before I must seat a bullet in the case? The cases are all stored in a different location and marked letting me know that they are primed, charged and ready for seating. Can I store them in a dry, air tight ammo box or must they be seated right away? Powder being used is IMR SR7625 for 45acp.

I used to do it the same way before I got a progressive. My question to you is why would you want to drop powder and then leave them?
Aside from the issues of how to store them without the powder coming out I have always seated a bullet after dropping powder.
Not only do you not want to get confused and double charge, the powder being left out for a significant amount of time may cause it to fire differently than just dropping and seating.
I would suggest breaking your final stage down. For me, I did 50 at a time. I'd take 50 primed cases, drop powder in them, visually check them, put a bullet on top and then seat/crimp them all. Repeat as needed.
I guess that was really just a long version of I wouldn't do it that way.

I'm actually dropping the powder and seating 50 as a last stage at the moment. I was thinking of charging about 150+ primed cases one day and then seating 50 a day in a 2 day period. If it may cause them inconsistencies with the way they fire then I'll stay away from that idea.
