    Resizing 6mm to 223?

Just idle curiosity, but with all the shortages, can you size 6mm down to 5.56mm?

I saw these Nosler surplus 55 gr bullets here.

Which reminded me of the Lee sizing kit like this.

I wonder if it is doable if things get really bad.

    Thanks!

223 is one of the most plentiful cartridges around. You're better off just selling it and.buying once-fired 223. You will probably come out in the black.

You are asking too much to size a 6mm BULLET down to 224 and have it work.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

OP is talking about resizing bullets.

I am sure you could but accuracy would be bad. Plus .223 bullets become available frequently. Wideners just had the 6000 pack boxes available.

The lee kit is for lead, you would need a jacketed swager. I agree with the others that it won't be worth it. The mania won't last forever, just a few decades...

After all the ARs and other SA rifles are confiscated, there will be plenty of .223 to go around for the bolt guns we'll have the "right" to own.
