I got 300 - 400 lbs of rolled lead sheet for cheap and was thinking about selling some of it after I get it all cleaned, smelted and cast into ingots.
I see that Roto-Metals.com sells pure lead for about $2.50/lb. I was thinking about selling a full USPS flat rate box with 70 lbs for $100 or $125, shipped. Does that sound reasonable? Do people buy pure lead or would it be better to alloy it with tin and antimony, test it for BHN and then sell it for a (a good bit) more?
