38 spl snke shot

Going thru some old boxes and found some 38spl snake shot capsoles. Anyone ever reload these?

I have loaded about 500 of them over the years. Work great.

What size shot and powder?

I use 5.5 grains of unique with #9 shot in my 4 inch model 19 S&W

I used to load them in my .44. Speer warns not to count on them for AP rounds, but I tried a few on plastic silhouettes and I surely wouldn't want them touching me within 30 feet.

my hunting bud loaded some 44 mag caps up with # 6 shot for me....super blackhawk 7 1/2 in. barrel.....ground rats at 20 yds. no prob.....shreds rattlers....nasty loads....me likeeeee.....cheers..
