    IMR 4895 ??

Want to do some reloading for my M1 Garand.
Does anyone know where I can find some IMR4895.
Everyone seems to be out .

    Thanks

If using heavier bullets (168+) grain, I've found 4064 to work better. Use the search button. There's other posts of the powders besides 4895 that the Garand can safely handle.

PV says they have 4895 and 4064... confirmed on the phone,

i've been awaiting a shipping confirmation for three weeks now.
After watching WTC Bldg #7 being razed, and considering it's main occupants..

I stumbled onto this note while checking advanced weapons..

You must have tipped somebody off, out of stock as of now (just got off the phone w/ them).

Powder Valley has some IMR 4320 as well as H4895. You will have to develop loads based on published data. Good luck. I had a hard time finding any supply of Varget or IMR4895.

                Thanks for looking!

I prefer H4895 over IMR 4895. Mostly because Hogdens rate the H4895 for reduced loads. Check out this link: http://www.hodgdon.com/PDF/H4895%20R...le%20Loads.pdf
