Loose, Bagged or Stripers

I don't know.... I think I may know so much, that I know nothing at all.

ok, Here we go. When you reload ammo, Doesn't really matter what it is, How do you store it? I like stripper clips and bandoleers. I think it's great. BUT, I also think that placed in a bag for storage is the best.

1> Stripper clips: Keeps ammo in line. Easy to grab and go, But can get dirty.

2> 4 Mil bags: Keeps ammo clean, Easy to grab and go, you can grab a bag out of the can and the other rounds will stay clean.

3> Boxes: Keeps ammo in line, somewhat clean, but takes up room.

4> Loose: this will not keep ammo clean, It will be hard to load, and there is no grab and go.

Well, what do you all think ? What do you like?

I keep all mine loose in ammo cans. Doesn't get dirty and I don't find it hard to load from.

Everything goes into tupperware. I bought a ton that was just the right size to be able to fit 4 in an ammo can. The tupperware is great at keeping them clean and dry, and i know appx. 200 9mm will fit in one or 80 .308 etc...

Also the brass goes in there when im done. They stack really well too, its easy to see at a glance how much ammo i have and what im running low on.

What a great idea. Tupperware. I didn't think of that.

By the way, I do keep ALL of my ammo in cans. But in 30 round 4-mil bags.

Zip lock bags for everything other than precision rifle loads that go into 50 round MTM boxes, but they never last long in those boxes.
