I'm just wondering why you're pushing close to max loads?

I second the question about the type of bullet you're using. If you're shooting cast bullets, are they GCed? What type of lube is on them?

Cast or jacketed? I'm too lazy to research them on my own.

              The lube is what's smoking.

could see it a mile away with CSA's questioning. I find LLA smokes a bunch.

Try reducing your load. I don't push non GCed hard cast bullets too fast. I noticed an increased amount of leading and smoking lube when I have tried it. But, I've also switched to Jake's Red lube since then and haven't had a problem with leading or smoking since.

Reduce your powder charge. You're just wasting propellant. When I experienced that big smoke puff I was using moly coated lead with no lube grooves and still got a lot of smoke and severe barrel leading. That was my signal to reduce the powder charge. I was near max too. Lesson learned.
