need advice for 9mm plinking load

does anyone know where i can get 115 gr 9mm bullets and brass
to reload some plinking rounds father in law got a new 9 for x mas and wants me to load some plinking rounds

i have seen some of the bulk winchester and remington bullets around but
hornady nosler and all the the box type bullets seem to be sold out

also what powder is everyone using in the 9 i shoot longshot in my shotgun loads and have heard you can load it in the 9 but where do you get the data from ?? would be nice to load 20 ga and 9 with the same powder if it was possible local gun shops carry limited selections of powder but longshot is one that is readily available so i can get it easily

thanks for any info /recipes / online retailers that have stuff in stock

Some info on longshot for 9mm.
I'm still kind of new at reloading. Right now I load only for 9mm. The two powders I've used have been 231 and Universal. They both meter well through my Lee Pro Disc measure (although totaly different weights for the size of disc) and I get some pretty accurate loads in the midrange of both...

I only like Longshot for 10mm. I use w231 for 9mm. It's very clean and meters beautifully!

Longshot works great for 9mm. One of my favorite powders for 9.

Hodgdon has the load data you seek, on their web site. Just use the 115gr GD load data for any FMJ, should work great.

            My receipe

4.9grn of universal under 115grn berrys rnds with remington or winchester small pistol primers.
I can't seem to find any 9mm bullets (any brand) or small pistol primers (again any brand) on anybody's shelf. I already have the brass and have looked online for bullets, seem to be back ordered there also.
I'm sure there are plenty of people with over 10,000 rounds that panic bought. I will continue to keep any eye out and buy reasonably (as in not the whole shelf).

Good luck on your adventure. By the way the loose stuff wasn't any different then the box stuff in our 9mm.
