AMMO2U Review - Bad

I know this is an old post but I recently had a bad experience with Ammo2u and I wanted to share.

They advertised "Winchester Ranger LE .45 230gr JHP +P+ T- Series 500rnd" for $255.00

I ordered it and they ended up sending +P not +P+

They told me that .45 +P+ didn't exist and that I should have known even though they advertised it as +P+, described it as +P+ and sent me an order confirmation of it being +P+. They offered only a refund if I sent it back but the shipping to send it back was ridiculously high because of the weight and the hazmat fee for ammo so basically I am out of luck. I think they should have at least paid for return shipping, gave me a partial refund for the mistake, or even a discount on future purchases; but they offered nothing.

They also don't package their ammunition well. They just stuck a UPS shipping label on the case as it comes from Winchester. The box is heavy so people handling the package will tend to drop it rather than putting it down. The corners of a bunch of the boxes of ammo were indented. Everyone who passes by your house will know you got shipped ammo...

I advise staying away from Ammo2u
They have horrible customer service and what you pay for might not be what you get...

Haven't ordered ammo online for a while, when did shipping services starts charging hazmat for complete rounds?

I have bought from them. When there is no ammo to be found anywhere... and they have stuff in stock... they are my best friend..

But S&H is expensive... but then again 1000 rnds weighs so darn much...

overall saved money with them over others... but then again never bought from them in a stable market... ymmv

It's not that +P+ doesnt exist. It actually does, it's the just the same as +P or P+. Some companies just label it different. I don't see what they advertised as being wrong?
