Best factory rifle ammo

I don't reload rifle ammo, I was wondering Ya'll's luck with Factory Pre-rolled Stuff with great or good accuratecy and great ballistic .308 Win, Boolit's for my Howa 1500 Lighting, 22'' barrel, out to atleast 400+yrds. I saw on the Guns & Ammo tv, about Black Hills OTR .223 and .308 shells were suposed to be top shelf stuff, but I know there are others like Hornandy, Barns, Rem, Win, Serra, Norma, ect.. I know each rifle like certin shells and not so good others, Just wondering anybodys experiance..

I do not reload either, and I have always found hornady has the best groups generally out of all the long guns I have. That is all I ever buy now.

Depends entirely on your gun. Some guns prefer Remington, others Hornady, others Winchester, others Lapua, others Prvi Partizan, etc. Furthermore, it depends on the specific type of that company's ammo, since they typically make more than one type. For example, I don't much care personally for Remington .22LR bulk pack ammo, but my 10/22 seems to love it. Therefore, that's what I fed it while I could still get it.

You've just got to try some types in your rifle and see how it likes 'em.

Federal 168-grain or 175-grain Gold Medal Match is typically regarded as the standard among the long-distance competition crowd.

I prefer milsurp in almost all firearm applications, i dont do much shooting where i would notice minor accuracy differences. When i do shoot from a bench rest, its to test my own handloads.

Privi has always done me good, but so has every other brand. Ill take milsurp or hadloads over them any day though.
