There's another thread on here from somebody who bought some of the super quiet .22 ammo that just has a primer and no powder and he was pretty pissed. :-)

They might be thinking they can reload the brass. Most of the blank brass failed quality control, so that's not a good idea to make ammo with it.

Just out of curiosity, what is your reason for having so many blanks?

Blanks use primers, right? Maybe they could remove the primers for loading of live rounds.

A BFA and a 1919 are almost as fun as live firing. Other than that, you just never know. I had a few 50BMG blanks in a door pocket of my truck for a couple years and, this last June a friend was trying to catch a picture of muzzle flash at night. He used live rounds first. Then, I gave him a special blank loaded with flash powder. The picture of that ened up on a magazine cover.
