Give me a light .45acp load

I am going to shoot an IDPA match this weekend and am looking for a good load to try.
I have Unique and WW231 powder with your choice of 200g SWC or 200g flat nose jacketed bullets. I will be using a 5" Kimber with a reduced power 14# recoil spring.
About 2 weeks ago I loaded some 200g SWC with 5.1g of Unique and it was a very nice shooting load with one problem. After shooting a full magazine I found quite a bit of unburined powder on the table. The 5.4 load was clean but not as nice to shoot. I have not tried the 231 with these bullets but I am hoping I can find a cleaner combo.
Thursday will be test day for whatever I decide to try, so I can load Friday night. Thanks for your imput!! Sammy

Winchester WST burns fast and as far as I have noticed, completely. Most all of the listed loadings range from light to medium power anyhow.

    4.4 to 5.1 for a lswc 200 gr bullet

4.5 max for lead round nose 230 gr. ( I think other sources list a little higher, but 4.5 pushing a 230 gr. bullet was quite pleasant. a 200 gr one would be real easy going).

not to your spec but here is what I use in IDPA.

      Clays 4.1 gr
      230gr FMJ
      718-724 FPS
It just makes PF. I used this load at the CA state match and got 3rd thanks to a FTE (dirty extractor). I have a kinber with a 11# spring works great. If you want to play it safe go 4.2-4.5gr would work better with your 14# spring.

I use W231 5.2gr with 200gr plated FN, burns clean in the 1911's 4 and 5 inch barrels but dirty in the wheelgun.

I use W231 5.3 gr with 200 gr LSWC, veeery accurate in all my 1911's. Oh, yeah, I use factory 16 pound recoil spring. I suggest you use SWC, they make "bigger" holes on paper.
