    7.62 NATO vs .30 M2

    147g 7.62 FMJBT NATO vs 150g .30 M2 FB

Several years ago Midway had these 7.62 bullets on sale. They had a mean OD of .3065". The M2' came from Graf's via Yugo and show an avg. OD of .3075"

I can an 8"X10" plate ten of ten at 325 yards with the M2 Yugo and only four of ten with the 7.62 NATO and had to hold 6" higher. I next ran a 100 yards test on STD. pistol targets at 100 yards. While the NATO bullet stayed in the black the M2 still showed it up. I used 42g of H-4895. I played back and forth .5g with out much change.

    Measure dem bullets
