So i finally got all setup up with the new lock and load. I tumbled some brass and went to town.
First i sized and de-capped some .223. I lubed the cases up in a ziplock and everything went smooth.
I switched dies and tried to run some .270 win brass. The brass would only go into the sizer 3/4 of the way into the die. As i removed the brass i could tell that the mouth and neck was damaged. This same thing happened with the .308 win brass. I then tried some 300wsm and they work as smoothly as i would expect.
What is causing this issue? I treated everything the same way and adjusted the dies per Hornady's instructions. Here are some pics of the damaged .270 rounds.
