Noob reloading question(s)

So, a couple of questions.

1) Tumble before or after decapping?

2) What to add to media to get the best results?

1) before, unless you like picking media out of flash holes.
2) nothing unless bright shineys really turn you on. If that's the case, I think Dillion makes a brass cleaner you can add. I don't bother.

I tumble before. If you tumble after you will have to pick the media out of each flashhole. The primer pocket will be fine tumbling with the old primer in it. If your anal you can brush the pocket and it does better than the media anyway.
I use treated media and as it get worn I add the Midway additive to it.
Be sure to cut up dryer no-wrinkle sheets and put 1/4 to 1/2 in when running the unit. That will remove much of the dust.

I read somewhere about using NuFinish car wax added to the media before tumbling and letting it run a few minutes before adding the brass....any thoughts?

2. used 3 or 4 different solutions before i found brasso. Brasso works excellently

I use Dillon's polish. Pretty good stuff under $10.

New finish is awesome brass comes out so shinny you would not believe unless you see it.
