Varget, will it meter in a Lee Auto-Disk Powder Measure?

Hi to all, am pretty much a newbie to reloading. I want to load up Sierra 69 g HPBT in once fired Lake City .223. I have two primers available, CCI 400 SR or CCI Bench Rest Small Rifle. I am loading for a Stag Varmint AR, which is supposed to shoot 1/2 MOA with the right ammo. (It will likely out shoot me) Since I am loading for an AR, I would like to use a progressive loader. Does anyone have any experience with Varget in progressive loaders? Will it work?

Also, what sort of difference, all other things being equal, should I experience with the BR primers vs the regular SR? Are they worth the extra $ per thousand?

No powder drop will drop any powder consistantly enough if your building match grade ammo. Varget it notoriously difficult to boot. While all BR primers are not created equal, it is important not to use sensative primers in any rifle with a floating firing pin like an AR. Some benchrest primers have softer shells, not good for a rifle that has the firing pin smack the primer every time the bolt goes into battery.

It works in a lee auto disk. It will occasionally spill out of the back, ymmv. I love varget.
