I was reloading some .223 this morning and I was putting the cases through a case gauge and I ran into some issues. Some of the brass would drop in just fine but some would get hung up at the very end. It turns out that some of the brass has a small ding in the rim caused by the extractor hitting it and it keeps the case from going al the way into the case gauge. I can push it in with a small amount of force but then it has to be pushed out from the other side with a dowel to remove it. If the ammo is going to be fired in an AR-15 do you think i will have feeding and extracting issues or do you think the force of the bolt closing and extracting will be enough to overcome the small amount of binding?

Case Gauge

It's fine. I get this on my brass as well and it has the same effect when I drop it in a case gauge (LE Wilson).
