    Magnetic tumbler?

    Do you guys think something like this can be used for cleaning brass? Seems easy enough to build. I have a lot of old hard drives I can scavenge magnets from.

    looks like it should be fine, just lower the speed a bit, because it looks fairly aggressive. Shouldn't be too much worse than a stainless rotary tumbler.

    I'd test it on some cheaper brass like 9mm or .40, and then some larger cheap brass like a .30-06 to see how it handles before using it on anything rare or expensive.
