    :-(

I can't find 223 bullets anywhere... So much for "getting started reloading"

I think I spent this weekend cleaning brass for no reason.

    Sucks.

No you didn't. You now have clean brass for reloading when the prices and availability of components returns to normal sanity. If you just decided to get started reloading, what makes you think you can't do so next month, next June or next year? Just shoot a little less and keep accumulating the money you were going to spend on ammo and scoop up the components when you see it available at a reasonable price.

In the future, just buy a little extra every time and before you know it, you can survive these droughts and not miss a beat.

I just ordered 2k from midway, hornady fmj and soft point. They're backordered, will be in stock in a few days.

They have armscore in stock 62 gr if you have to have them now.

Besides, cleaning brass is the easy part. Now resize, trim, deburr, swage, clean pockets, re-clean, and prime!

Unless you already did that, in which case I'd say yeah, that is a lot of work just to have some brass LOL

It's the hard part though pulling the handle is the easy part. Good luck.

Yup get in line and get some backordered.

I just ordered (sunday) from Midway. have a few K backordered but also ordered a number of random 100ct boxes of sp and hp that weren't too bad. Those shipped this AM. Midway is quite on top of things

All my other orders are taking forever, every place is swamped

I did it but I have no faith because of how they just bump it up constantly.

do not ever for get this shortage! Let it sink in deep. Learn from it!

You always need to be well stocked on bullets, primers, cases, and powder!
Never ever, let this happen again!

              Keep searching....you will find some!

Amen! This is *really* good advice, about this and really most situations.

When I do something dumb, I try to *really* let it set in, and remember that feeling, because I do *not* ever want to feel like that again.

                Pain is a heckuva motivator!
