Sportsmans Warehouse in Rocklin - last time I was there they were picked over

Wild Sports in Orangevale - go to the back counter. They still have some things in stock

Discount Shooters Supply in Roseville - some stock last time I was there

River City Gun Exchange, I think... - not sure

Was in Sportsman's in Reno on New Years eve, they had plenty of everything but primers and some brass!

I seldom purchase supplies from local sources, as the selection is limited and stocks are usually inadequate. So, I shop online for all my supplies.

In checking several online sources I find that some bullets and brass is in very short supply just now, anything .223 Remington, .9mm and .45 ACP among them. We had panic buying and Christmas depleting the supply. We can expect this to improve as manufacturers catch up with the demand.

Starline .45 ACP brass is back ordered until 1/31/2013 https://www.starlinebrass.com/order-.../all-cases.cfm a box of 500 $89.50; box of 1000 $156.50 (best brass available).

Powder Valley is out of stock http://www.powdervalleyinc.com/index.html and behind on shipping.

Midway USA has .45 ACP Remington brass both nickel and brass finish, and Winchester brass in stock. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/160...g-brass-45-acp

Grafs has some brands including Starline 100 packs, Remington nickel +p (same stuff just +p designation), Magtech, and Armscor brass in stock. http://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/...ategoryId/533?

Grab what you need while its available. Brass is not loaded ammo and can ship anywhere in California.

Don't forget to submit your 500 bullet rebate with the purchase of your classic kit. Takes Hornady about 3 weeks to get them shipped to your door.

Don't forget midsouthshooterssupply.com for online purchases.

Sportsmen warehouse always gets their shipments during the week, I have been successful by calling early in the day(thursdays mornings was always a winner for me) and asking if they received any shipments of powder and primers and what type if they have.

Discount Shooters Supply in Roseville is also on Facebook and sometimes reference what they received in shipments that day.

I was in Discount Shooters on Monday and they had CCI Small and Large pistol primers.

I got 2000 small and 1000 large and now I'm overstocked again. Better get to loading 9MM, I guess.

I was just in Sportsman's Warehouse and they were pretty well stocked with powders and bullets(minus 22) but did see 9mm 40 and 45. Primers slim didnt notice any handgun had a few large rifle and large rifle magnum. They did have some brass but didnt look too much at that but looked like mostly non popular calibers.

It's going to be slim pickings from now, until the impending bans take effect.

That being said, after Kevin DeLeon bans ammunition, your press is going to come in handy.... (until he bans that too )

Note.. River City Gun Exchange does not sell reloading supplies. Rancho Cordova gun shop does and still had powder and primers last time I was there.. I believe they only carry Molly coated lead bullets though...
