    Primer Question.

Should I be concerned with the primer deforming?

This was 165 gr Sierra Spitzer, 42 gr IMR 4064 but also happened with Varget.
I think it's maybe my bolt?

Looks OK to me. It just seems like your bolt has a larger than needed firing pin hole..

P.S your load is not in the danger zone. Just checked my data and that load is almost on the bottom scale...

          Not a problem.

What gun are you shooting it out of, bolt or semi?

I've had pressure spikes in the past when ignoring case length. Had a safe load, 155gr Sierra over 43.1gr N140. Hard to open the bolt, upon inspection, chamber was crimping the case mouth upon closing the bolt. My shooting partner had a mini wind runner in .308 that used to do that to primers, the best I could figure was the recess in the bolt face around the firing pin was allowing them to flow, it had a tight chamber and .298 bore. My Remington handled the same load without issues, in fact I was getting soot on the neck and shoulder.

I don't see extractor marks on the rim, must be your bolt face.
