    Redding customer service

I use a Redding universal decapping die instead of the decapping assembly in the sizing die for my precision reloading dies. I accidently turned the turret on my press with the ram up and bent the decapping pin. The next case through the die snapped the pin off. I've broken decapping pins before and have spare pins for about 5 different brands so I disassembled the die and found that the decapping pin in the universal dies is not replaceable.

Cussing at it didn't work so I went on Redding's internet site and tried to order a replacement decapping assembly. I couldn't find it on their site so I emailed Redding and asked then how to order one.

The Redding Customer Service Rep's (Andy) answer:

I'm sorry that it broke, give me your address and I'll send you one in the mail for free. Thanks for using Redding products.

You don't get much better service than that!!

I've had good luck with them too.

I have a T7 press with a couple of heads for it. I've occasionally lost the little ball that goes on top of the spring in the press. They have just sent me another one.

I haven't had to use them yet, but good to know. I don't mix alcohol with reloading though

      I want to get a T7 also, 7>4
