    Primers all gone

So I usually use CCI 400 for my .223 reloads. Now I cant find them anywhere. Does anyone know what alternative primers using CCI should I use? Ived only used the 400.

I think I remember seeing 150K primers for sale here in the reloading/ammunition forum....

LOL I looked in the ammo section. oofah. only $450 for ammo that cost $200! hey I guess its what the market will bear.

I didn't see any primers but I'm sure they're reasonable LOL

Winchester non magnum small rifle primers work just as well. I purchased the last 2000 from Turner's Norwalk on the 22nd (actually the last 1800 - one box was 200 short). Not purchased for hoarding - I always buy the case (1000) and as it turns out this time I've got about 1000 rounds waiting to be reloaded and have some hand loads I want to do for my bolt action and varminter.

I would check your LGS - didn't seem to be a rush on reloading supplies at Turners, and price is around average for the stuff ($36/1000 primers). I also picked up another pound of 4198 for my 45-70 loads.

Your a little late to the party. I just checked all the sources I know about for the heck of it and only found Tula SR mag primers in stock...

Everywhere I've looked on the net, I can't find SRP or SPP. Well maybe some match or magnup SRP for around $35/box.

            I shoulda stockpiled more, dangit.

Fingers crossed that things loosen up a bit in a few months. I read that brownells sold 3 years worth of magazines in 3 days LOL

And this just in time for me to have finally bought a reloading set.
