Walmart ammo question

Does anyone happen to know what day walmart stocks up their ammo case?

They stock up in whatever day they get it in.

I would guess like most things it's a revolving restock. They get it the store with a day or two of the time the stock hit's their nearest hub. Walmart is famous for having a very lean supply chain.

thanks i heard a rumor that they restocked on tuesdays. im in need of some federal 550 22LR. havent seen them at any other store

I was in Walmart this morning at 6:00 AM and they were restocking ammo when I walked by.

They stock every night. It all depends on what's in there shipment. Your best bet is to get to know your regular sporting goods clerks. They usually know early what they are supposed to get.

Went to Walmart for .45 ammo. Te kid in the department said he would check in the back for me. He brought out two boxes that had various ammo brands, and calipers mixed in. He had to rummage thru the boxes to find if they had what I wanted. He to.d me they get shipments in every day. Best thing to do is become friendly and give them your cell and ask if they will call you when they get what you want. They called me the other day and I had hime set aside 300 rounds .45 and 200 9mm.

ALL THREE WALMART STORES IN MY AREA HAVE HAD ZERO 22LR...

I have been to one on my way home 2 times in the last few weeks, and the 22lr shelf only has 22shorts, same in the other two visited this weekend.

Why? There hasn't been even a hint of discussion about " banning" ammunition sales.. Yea de Leon is trying his crap again but it will fail again. Democrat supermajority or not. It didn't fail last time secondary to votes, it got neutered in court.

They've been running dry on 550 bulk packs pretty much since Romney won the Republican Primary. The terrible tragedy in Newtown, CT has brought the antis out in force, and we all remember 1994. Now that Obama's in his second term, there's no reelection for him to worry about. He's got nothing personally to lose. No reason from his perspective not to go whole hog now.

That's why you're seeing even .22LR unavailable now. We remember.
