Hey guys, i had a day off today and was bored so i went to the range to scrounge for brass. I ended up with 500 9mm, 300 .223 and about 100 .40 and .45 brass. Question is, what do you guys do with your brass (mainly .223) that have slightly flattened case mouths from being stepped on, etc? I dont want to run them through my press unless they are almost perfectly round because i dont want to break decapping pins all day long, crush the brass, or damage my dies. I am assuming it is ok to use these cases as long as they arent spilt. Am i correct?

Crushed case mouths?

if you feel better, you can use a round punch to open up the case mouth a bit to make it round, but if its not too flat, just run it in the die slowly.Looking for RPR or Precision Rifle Accessories? Check out Anarchy Outdoors. http://www.anarchyoutdoors.com?afmc=1wComment
