    Shotshell Reloading Experience

    Good Morning,

I just picked up a used Hornady 366 progress reloader. I am looking to just reload Slugs and Buckshot, 00, #1 and #4. I am looking to gain some first hand knowledge of shotshell reloading. I picked up a Lyman 5th Edition shotshell manual and have found that it is quite different from metallic reloading, with all of the hulls, primers, wads, powders, etc.

Are there any shotshell groups out there? Thanks.

A good place to go for information is the shotgunworld.com forums. Stick with published loads and you will be jake. I load mainly #1 Buck for 12 Gauge and #3 Buck for 20 Gauge, mainly because they stack so well in their respective hulls.

    Good luck, have fun.
