    9mm Competition loads

I am trying to find a recipe for a low recoil 9mm luger with minimal muzzle flip, but still meeting the IDPA power factor of 125,000. any help would be greatly appreciated

    147gr bullet (Zero's JHP)
3.9 or 4.0gr of VV N340 (super clean)
Flying out of my G19's 4" barrel 850-900fps, *just* make 125000PF
Super low recoil, it feels like..... *nothing*

For a 147gr, you need it to go at 851fps to make minor PF.

PS. btw, what gun do you shoot, and what's the length of your barrel?

      Or

      135gr bullet (Zero's FMJ)
      3.7 or 3.8gr VV N340
      Flying @ around 1000fps

I can actually lower the power charge if I want to make it even slower; I may experiment that later.

But the 147 recipe is actually better, IMO.

3.9gr VV340 behind a Zero 147gr JHP did 932 fps in my G34 and ~900 in my G17 and SP01 last time I ran them through the chrono.
        OAL: 1.128"

Since I plan on using my SP01 in the future, I bumped it up to 4.0 to get some more margin...

This load is also super accurate in my SIG210s...

          It all make sense.
          G34: 5.3"
          G17: 4.5"
          G19: 4"

So your G34 and G17 is a little faster than my 4" G19.

And I must agree.... this load is "super accurate".... even from my G19

Now, WHERE CAN I BUY MORE OF ZERO 147JHP????????

3.5gr of 231 under 125gr lead bullets seated to 1.100 OAL works good in my Glock 17 and EAA Witness.

move them too slow and your gun will be sluggish. If it's cold it can get real sluggish.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

I shoot Westcoat plated 125's behind 3.8 grns of Titegroup. It makes 130 power factor out of my G17 and G34. I use it for Production and Glock matches and runs fine with stock recoil springs.
                  where are my pistol mags?
