Advice on clean .38 powder

I've used Clays and True Blue. Both are clean. Just a heads up though, I don't recommend using both powders in a 2" barrel. I've experienced un-burned powder blow back. 4" barrel or longer you are good to go.

W231, Ramshot TrueBlue, and maybe even Alliant Unique.

I have been having great performance using Power Pistol with 158re cast bullets.

Unique used to be one of the dirtiest powders out there, particularly with lead bullets. Alliant has cleaned it up considerably, but I haven't tested it with lead since.

TrailBoss for the win!!!! Super clean, low recoil too. Biggest drawback is that it meters VERY poorly out of my LNL, I use an RCBS Chargemaster now with it and hand charge each case. American Select is a clean burning powder also, doesn't meter as well as TiteGroup, but better than TrailBoss.

I started with 800x and then red dot, both were dirty. I am now using HP-38 and it is much cleaner and more accurate for my gun...

Bullseye is great for 38 in terms of accuracy, but it's one of the dirtiest powders to use.

Another +1 for Trail Boss. 158gr SWC over 3.0gr of Trail Boss is my favorite plinking load. Clean, accurate, and really low recoil.
