"Vintage" Rimfire Ammo

I recently got some 22 ammo from my father, its of unknown age. Most likely bought during the late 70's/80's. Everything was stored in a dry storage room in the house, so I assume it will be good to go.
Thoughts?

You should be fine.

As always
If you have a misfire- wait 20-30 seconds for a rim fire
Verify that the cartridge ejects with the bullet still in the cartridge
(Prevents a squib load from leaving the bullet in the barrel)

Storage is key- dry and a stable cool place and ammo will last a long time
