The ammo is readily available but it's all made by FNH and the cheapest online or in stores is around $20+ a box of 50.

That's not so bad! Try buying any of the old WWII axis ammo (outside of 7.92) and you'll think that's a good deal!

I have a FiveseveN and I refuse to pay $.40 a round to shoot it when I can reload it for $.17

I agree with you. I'm just puzzled as to why other ammo manufactures haven't started producing the round to compete with FNH.
