Fuse? We use friction primers just like they did in the War of Northern Agression. Cannon Balls? Yea, there are some but, many cannons where designed to shoot bolts (conical projectiles) and other types of projectiles.

You will need to be more specific about what kind of cannons you're talking about. Smooth bored or rifled? Full size? Scaled? What era(s)? Field pieces? Naval pieces? Or, stationary pieces (like at a fort)?

If you're in the Brentwood just outside Pacific Palisades (or, anywhere else in So Cal., let me know and I'll get you out to play with my unit. You don't need a thing. We have 8 full size guns, loaner uniforms and always need extra gunners! I'm not going to post where to get BP, fuse or primers on a open forum but, if you want to PM me with a phone #, we can talk about it in private.

Ya know Ray... I wanted to go shootin with ya before. But now that I see you shoot cannons... I HAVE to go out with ya sometime

I must know... can you shoot large numbers of pellets out of a cannon... like a giant shotgun? Please say yes.

I haven't shot one in Brentwood but, I have fired cannons in many cities including Anihiem, Vista, Hunnington Beach, Moorpark, Fresno, somewhere in the east bay (SF) and possibly this year in Long Beach.
