What can I store powder in?

Yes, and put that in a good freezer bag. (not in the freezer, they are humid).

Powder, being hazmat, sometimes has limited amounts that may be stored, depending on jurisdiction. An anonymous call to the local fire department will answer that question, or get them on the answer to it.

I group buy with friends and I put in freezer ziploc inside tupperware or big coffee can. I just put a note with powder type and date in bag.

Make sure you label it. Get a solid color. Nothing that will let the light in. You could ziploc it first.

I have used washed out and dried,liquid laundry soap bottles.Pour spout comes in handy.

I wish I had known. I had 4 empty 1lb powder containers I just gave to my wife for her craft stuff. She drilled holes in the lids and is using them to store ribbon.

I always have a lot of leftover 8lb powder jugs...anybody can have them for free if you want to pick them up in Yucaipa, CA

I have a few of the 100lb fibre cans too.

They use to sell powder at hardware stores in brown paper bags.
They'd write the type of powder on the outside of the bag.
Unique, 2400, or Bullseye.
