    Reloder22 powder

Anybody used this stuff before? Going to use it for .270 Winchester.

I use it in 300 Win Mag. The powder works well. If you already have the powder, use it. If you are going to buy powder for the 270, look at H4831sc. It's like peanut butter and jelly. The combo is meant for each other.

Sierra manual has Re-22 listed as it's accuracy load for some of it's 130gr. and 150gr bullet offerings.

RE-22 is my go to powder for .300 Wby and .25-06, nice combination of velocity and pressure with heavy bullets in both, should be dandy in the .270 as well. Having said that I second the vote for 4831, just because Jack O'Connor would approve.

My best ever .270 loads came from RE22 and Berger 130gn bullets. Fantastic powder but its so chunky it meters just terribly. I use a dipper and a trickler.

I use it in 300 Win. Mag. It was accurate with Barnes 168 Tipped TSX's.

Some of the long range shooters claim that Reloader 22 is a bit temperature sensitive though.

                I load 208 A-max and 215 Hybrids in my .30-06 with Re22.
