I recently purchased a steyr M95 and since ammo is hard to come by and expensive, thought I would get I to reloading (again - I did it years ago but stopped). Has any had experience in reloading this cartridge?

You can actually use 7.62x54R brass. It loads out with a little shorter case length than 8x56 but it's a rimmed case so as long as the rifle's headspace is within spec, it should be fine. Prvi ammo is available for about $15 a box and it's boxer primed brass. Fairly easy caliber to reload, otherwise...

Yes you can fire form 7.62x54r brass or get Prvi like CEDaytonaRydr said, Gunbroker has some 56r new brass for sale but it is almost as much as buying Prvi. You have to find .329 bullets. There are lots of 8mm (.323) mauser bullets to chose from but a little harder to find .329 bullets for a decent price.

Lee makes a good .329 sizing die and my 8x56r dies are Lee also

i bought prvi brass from grafs and buffalo arms, as well as proper(.329-.330) bullets. i've not yet reloaded but i'm just coming off of a reloading hiatus so i plan to get on top of this quick. i'll let you know what i come up with and how it shoots. i'll likely be using BL-C(2) because i have a crapton of it and need to use it up. anybody else has insight please throw it in here. the bullets i got are also 208gr sp.

I use the privi bullets/brass from grafs. I have had good results with h4831sc, varget, and 3031. I find the data from lee to be on the weak side. All the starting loads didn't seal and left soot on the case.
