    squib today.....45ACP BANG BANG BANG pop? WTF....

    droped the mag, cleared action, checked the barrel....Put in the box

    Got it home popped right with a lite tap

    Ive had a few and you need to pay strict attention on your powder drops, When you hear or feel that pufff, stop, clear and check.

    I take a plastic tiped brass rod with me now in my gun case.

      I'm a slow learner so it took me a long time to get it right. I tape a light over the seating die so I can see how much powder is in the case before I put the bullet in. No more squibs!

      It's a good malfunction drill anyhow. Just don't tap-rack-boom, or you'll get a real BOOM alright!!!! :-)

      That is a ******* when it happens, though, I would get furious and embarassed LOL
