Where's the penal code?

While trying to understand the problem with vendors shipping ammo to Los Angeles, I ran across a reference to CA Penal Code sec. 12033. But when you go to look up 12033 on the .gov website, you find... no section 12033?

What is the current state of legality with ordering ammo online from out of state? The last vendor I talked to said they'd send it, but it's my responsibility to deal with any issues that arise if it's intercepted in transit.

Have there been issues like this lately??

it would seem that the sale of ammo in Los Angeles is regulated by the LA city council.

And for future reference- they reclassified most of the firearm related CA penal codes (ie 12020 etc) in Jan of 2012. They are different numeric codes now...
