still not avail yet, but their website shows some in the catalog but they look different than I thought they were supposed to look like the Speer Gold Dots.
called the co. they said they'll be avail mid DEC.

Several folks have been lucky enough to have obtained 100 samples from Berry's as a result of participation on one of the CZ forums. I purchased several of the 185 grain 45ACP HP's sample packs a couple months back and they load and cycle very well in my 1911. I don't have any way to validate their expansion characteristic, but will let you know what information becomes available from the other testers. With the mid December release date, I'm hoping that they make the new HP's available in 9mm and 40 as well as 45ACP.

thanks for that info. can you post pix or describe the hollow cavity, does it look like their picture or more like a shallow cylinder cut like the old flying ashtrays?
I plan on buying .45, .44, and possibly the .38. I was waiting to do a big order for the free shipping and wanted to try their .308 for my .30-.30 and .300 whisper (7.62x35)

The hollow cavity looks just like the picture on the Berry's site. They feed well in my RIA 1911 with the stock and aftermarket barrels. Still no information posted on expansion characteristic, but I have to believe it will be good.

Actually ended up at $10/50 shipped, I bought 100. They came in Berry's plastic ammo boxes, nice touch. As johnny1290's link indicates, they expand like crazy, too much for FBI applications. Should be seeing real world gelatin or water jug results real soon on the CZ forum.

The Youtube is a waste of bandwidth. "Seems to me they're all copper." Those are the current production HP's that have been for sale for years. Finally realized they are plated late in the video. They are NOT the new style HP's under prototype testing. Those look like this.

I have been waiting for a while, when they come out I will pick some up.

I want to see them in some ballistics gel

If they will replace my current HD load is to be determined
I will share my opinion and my load data, BUT I am just a guy with too many cigars and too many guns. Whatever I say is probably wrong.
